Classic alpine sunglasses designed for the mountains. They minimize glare, block wind, and protect from harmful UV rays, reducing eye strain and allowing you to climb in both comfort and style. Equipped with Cat. 3 lenses, they offer greater visibility in alpine environments than the Heron Glacier and are better suited for hiking and general mountain activities.

The Heron range comes in three different versions. The design and fit is identical. What sets them apart are the lenses, and the activities they are best suited for.

Protective side shields
Inspired by classic alpine design, Heron Mountain feature leather side shields and a detachable centerpiece to block out sunlight and protect against glare, dust, and wind.
OPTICS
Ultraclear Cat. 3 lenses
The Cat. 3 lenses have a 12% VLT which, combined with the leather side shields, ensure your eyes are fully protected even in extreme conditions. The Heron range also includes our Heron Glacier that come with darker Cat. 4 lenses.
MATERIALS
Adjustable temples
The frame is made from Swiss-invented TR90® polyamide and is incredibly lightweight yet durable. Our fully adjustable and unique temples can be shaped around your ears entirely to your liking, allowing maximum comfort for long days on the mountain.
PACKAGING
Protective case
Heron Mountain comes protected in a stylish faux leather protective case along with a cleaning cloth. They are delivered plastic free in our VALLON box.

They are quite dark as I wanted. Fit is good. Color green looks good. Curving ear pieces could be a little longer. Vision is amazingly clear.

I already have a pair of polarised Vallons and bought a pair of the ordinary glasses as I work outside a lot as an environmental scientist and any sunglasses I ever had before never lasted long due to the work conditions they experience, but the Vallons are just superb, thus is bought a new pair!! Unfortunately I have to repurchase a new pair as the recent purchase fell into the Atlantic ocean while working on a RIB taking water and biota samples. C'est la Vie!!!
