Visa blockages, flat tyres, viscious stray dogs & road accidents
55-days into his LIMITLESS endurance challenge, Mitch has made it to the Turkey/Syria border. With his visa entry denied to Iran, Mitch and his team have had to re-route the next leg of the journey through Iraq. Interesting and uncertain times lie ahead as he cycles each day dawn till dusk - averaging 160km per day. With 45% of the entire journey complete, Mitch is determined to reach Everest.
OCTOBER 2024
Mitch has successfully crossed the English Channel
After a gruelling 18-hour swim through unpredictable waters, Mitch has reached the shores of Calais, marking the completion of the first leg in his extraordinary 12,000km triathlon challenge. Battling harsh currents, freezing temperatures, and relentless winds, Mitch defied the odds and pushed through where many others could not. Out of the 10 swimmers who set out to conquer the crossing, only 2 made it to their destination, with the majority forced to abandon their efforts due to dangerous weather conditions. Mitch’s determination and resilience have been nothing short of inspiring as he continues his journey, preparing now for the next daunting phase. His triumph is not just a personal victory but a testament to the power of perseverance in the face of adversity. With the Channel behind him, Mitch remains focused on the monumental tasks that lie ahead, proving that no goal is too far out of reach when you refuse to give up.
The next leg of his journey will take him across thousands of kilometers by bike and on foot, where the challenges will only grow more intense.
