OLI'S MISSION
Cycling and climbing from America’s lowest point in Death Valley, to it’s highest at the summit of Denali
Travelling self-supported from Death Valley to Denali is an extraordinary journey that began in one of the hottest places on Earth and traversed a multitude of climate zones across the US. Starting in Death Valley's arid desert, Oli faced scorching temperatures. As he pedalled north by bike, the environment transformed from desolate deserts to lush forests and expansive open plains. Reaching Alaska, his journey culminated at Denali National Park - transitioning from bike to hiking boots, and finally touring skis for the rare 120km ski approach to the foot of Mount Denali. The goal? To become the first person this century to complete this challenge.

ADVENTURING ACROSS AMERICA
From desert heat to snow-capped peaks
A self-supported journey from Death Valley to Denali is an ambitious endeavor covering no less than 3,588 miles over road, track, and snow. Given the varied terrains and potential challenges along the way, Oli set out knowing that there were 101 ways that his vision could end up in failure.
His plan was to complete the trip in under 70 days - factoring in weather conditions, physical endurance, rest days, and the need for acclimatization along the way. Oli managed this feat in just 64 days. It was a monumental ride, and a rigorous test of endurance and perseverance.
