VERBIER, SWITZERLAND
A good place to call home
Years spent exploring the endless outdoors surrounding the town of Verbier was the foundation for not only our initial designs, but also the ethos of what we thought an eyewear brand should be.
SKI MOUNTAINEERING
Tackling the Haute Route
The inspiration for VALLON’s Heron Glacier came from many years of mountaineering, and multiple design iterations to create the ideal sunglasses for the renowned Winter Haute Route - a 120km ski mountaineering challenge popularly undertaken between March and May each year. The route traverses high-altitude trails and alpine passes between Chamonix, France and Zermatt, Switzerland.
