Sunglasses storage
When not using your sunglasses, store them in a hardcase, softcase, or microfiber pouch.
We strongly suggest not placing them in a crowded drawer, glove box or car dashboard as uneven pressure and warm temperatures can deform the frame, as well as having adverse impact on any lens coatings.
When storing your sunglasses, avoid placing them face-down (particularly if they have a mirror coating, which is more prone to scratching). If they are not on your face, keep them in their case!
Sunglasses hardcases
A hardcase is best for giving your sunglasses 360 protection when not in use. The sunglasses should not rattle around inside the case, and the hardcase itself should have a non-abrasive lining. If you are concerned about the lenses at all, you can put a microfiber cloth between the case and lens to provide additional protection.
Hardcases are great for resilient storage and heat protection, however, when on the go, a soft pouch or microfiber pouch will still help to protect your sunglasses, (particularly the lenses!).
Sunglasses softcases
We recommend avoiding putting your sunglasses on your head, backpack or shirt collar, as this puts them at greater risk of scratches, warping and damage. Carrying a softcase or microfiber pouch with you is optimal for protecting your sunglasses on the go.
